feSt, our beloved feSt, is growing older. After 17 editions navigating contradictions and weathering many moments of near collapse, it still “flies” among clouds of uncertainty, caught between heavenly sweetness and bitter hell, shouting: “We made it!”
The visual campaign for feSt revolves around the concept of volatility, using ethereal images of faces shrouded in billowing clouds, symbolising both the act of flight and the unpredictable, ever-changing nature of the festival. The use of soft blues and pastel tones evokes a sense of serenity, while also creating an air of mystery, where the tangible and intangible merge.
The clouds, partially obscuring human figures, represent the idea of an artistic experience that envelops the viewer in the unknown, inviting them to explore what lies beyond the surface. The clean, modern typography contrasts with the organic, flowing forms, reinforcing the duality between structure and ephemerality. Together, this visual concept captures the essence of feSt as an event where performing arts soar and challenge the boundaries of reality, transforming the everyday into something extraordinary.
