OFFF Festival:
Made for the curious.
Under the slogan “Made for the Curious,” the campaign and design of the OFFF Sevilla space would champion discovery and exploration as core values in the creative and artistic process, delving into the relationship between curiosity and creativity.
OFFF FESTIVAL AT ARTILLERÍA SEVILLA (2022-2024 EDITIONS)
For the lighting installation at OFFF, we propose collaborating with students from the School of Art of Seville and CEADE to rediscover the inherent connection between creativity and curiosity. By embracing limitations as catalysts for innovation, we aim to encourage exploration beyond comfort zones, opening minds to new perspectives and possibilities.
Aligned with the economic and conceptual framework of OFFF Sevilla, we would design graphic and spatial strategies to enhance event signage and brand experience, tailored to the unique context and expectations of attendees.
Set within one of Seville’s most iconic cultural landmarks, the Royal Artillery Factory, our approach would prioritise discovery and exploration, fostering attendee engagement through participatory “architectures.”
Drawing inspiration from the space’s physical characteristics and utilising materials with authenticity, akin to theatrical scenery, we envision a subversive use of industrial elements. These include construction barriers, concrete blocks, traffic signage panels, lighting fixtures, and neon signs. Together, they would form a journey through the venue, culminating in a luminous universe that not only surprises but also redefines and organises the various activity areas.
In this concept, light—through its immaterial and expansive nature—transforms into a central element. It transcends traditional visual communication, exploring the boundaries of time, matter, and space, while reinterpreting the industrial heritage of the venue in a contemporary context.
