Púlpito Cívico:
a new Speaker’s Corner for Córdoba.
In the context of “Córdoba City of Ideas 2023”, El Alambre and Lugadero come together to bring to life a participatory urban activation action known as Púlpito Cívico. This device, designed in resemblance to the famous Speakers’ Corners that have marked the history of oratory around the world, was erected in a public space in Córdoba, becoming the epicenter of a day dedicated to sharing thoughts and perspectives on sustainability and resilience issues in the city of Córdoba.
This space became a physical and symbolic megaphone for the diversity of voices that make up the city of Córdoba; from anonymous citizens to experts, activists, or artists gathered with a common purpose: to continue weaving together the future of the city.
This unique action aims to position Púlpito Cívico as a symbol of the capacity of ideas, art, and the citizens of Córdoba to face challenges and work together in building an inspiring tomorrow.
